Life of a Specialist at mydentist

Our practice is on one of the busiest streets in Derry/Londonderry, Spencer Road. The team includes our fantastic and welcoming receptionists, Brenda and Shauna, and my right-hand woman, our therapist, Kerry. Our brilliant nursing team, Alison and Stephanie, ensure the practice is spotless and assist with materials, instruments, and patients, while our practice manager, Caroline, keeps things running smoothly.
Patient appointments are carried out across the day, ranging from 10-30 minutes each, and usually begin with a medication check, asking about any recent problems, and an examination. Procedures can include alignment and levelling, bite and molar relation, and closure of spaces. We might also be carrying out finishing and completion, performing the final settlement of the teeth and removing the dental device.
I’m supported continually by the practice team, who take care of the day to day running of my diary, including liaising with patients and maintaining the practice. This allows me to focus on performing consultations and procedures.
