Your Clinical Development Advisor at mydentist
We are very experienced in supporting dentists early in their career. We have a great team of Clinical Development Advisors who are experienced dentists committed to supporting you in the following ways;
Your Personal Development Programme at mydentist
During your first year we understand the transition you are making from DFT/VT or DCT into mydentist.
We want to ensure we understand where you feel confident and where you would benefit from support. We also want to understand the career aspirations you have!
We will then provide you with additional development tailored for you.
Your Clinical Development Advisor will take the time to get to know you and will help you tailor your development plan for your early career at mydentist. You will be entitled to book 4 development solutions from the mydentist Academy.
You may not appreciate that mydentist revenue is split 50 / 50 between NHS and private dentistry. All our practices offer private treatments.
We are well placed to support you on your journey, whatever your end goal may be! Just over 60% of our Clinicians choose to have an NHS allocation - percentage splits vary by clinician and of course over time.
We will support you to manage your NHS capacity and grow your private portfolio. We will help you to optimise the value of your NHS and private patient base.
You can join us either on a Self-Employed Associate License Agreement or on an Employed Contract (single or multi practice). The right option for you will be an individual choice and our well trained recruitment team will answer your questions.
We will help you move seamlessly following DFT (VT if Scotland) or DCT.

Your Work Experience at mydentist
Nothing compares to on-the-job experience to really understand what it would be like to work in a mydentist practice.
We offer work placement opportunities for UK dental students to observe experienced clinicians treating patients in surgery.
You will experience what working in a modern dental practice is like and will understand how the practice team is structured to support our dentists. You will gain an awareness of the wide range of dentistry you can choose to practice here at mydentist.
