{my}dentist opens new practice in Sheepscar

We have officially launched our brand-new dental practice at Northside Business Park in Leeds.

{my}dentist chief executive officer, Tom Riall, opened the practice in a ribbon cutting ceremony along with Sheepscar practice manager Dominic Turner, and area development manager Suzanne Bellwood.

The new practice is a result of a £1million investment by {my}dentist to merge two practices in Leeds into one purpose-built, modern location that offers better accessibility for all as well as longer opening hours.

There are 10 surgeries at {my}dentist Sheepscar across two floors, more than doubling capacity and increasing the number of available appointments. All surgeries are fitted with brand new dental chairs and equipment, while two waiting areas provide a bright and modern environment for patients.

Ahead of the move, patients were asked their views. They were overwhelmingly positive about the new location which also provides better public transport links and free on-site parking.

The new practice also created a further 14 jobs for clinicians, dental nurses and receptionists.

The practice is accepting new patients under {my}options, {my}dentist’s affordable way to access dentistry. Under {my}options, patients can access private check-ups, essential dental treatments and cosmetic dental treatments at affordable prices. They will also benefit from greater convenience with evening and weekend appointment times.

Shaun Wilde, {my}dentist director of region, said: “Our aim for the new practice was to provide our patients and teams with a modern and accessible practice that meets their needs now and in the future.

“With 10 surgeries we are able to see our existing NHS patients and beyond this, we know that accessing dental care in West Yorkshire is difficult which is why we have introduced {my}options, an affordable way to access a dentist when you need one.”
